Ground-breaking concepts

In our experience, possessing a broad base of knowledge, skills and expertise and having the ability to put it to maximum use invariably leads to ground-breaking concepts. Concepts that provide solutions to the problems national and international clients present us with. We could keep telling you about it with the greatest passion, but we’d rather show you. Browse through our projects and see for yourself how successful the ‘working apart together’ methodology can be.

Oranje-Nassau Energie

“We started with this project in 2008 and it continued until February 2018. It took us ten years to convince everyone involved of our ambition and of the way in which we wanted to achieve it, which included professionalism, quality and work safety”, says Theo Bergers, Chief Operations Officer at ONE. You can read more about this project in HSElife Magazine October 2011 (No 4).

Working at a plant is never without risk. Preventing operational incidents requires an array of technical provisions organizational measures. But that is not enough. The individual responsibility of each person present at the plant is another vital part of incident prevention. Taking responsibility means more than just knowing the rules and requirements: only fully understanding and complying with these rules and requirements will ensure a safe working climate and the prevention of damage to the environment. The project A WAY OF LIVING made HSE rules and procedures more accessible for employees and contractors at plants, enabling them to act more responsibly in the workplace.

Co-workers become team mates, joining forces as the components of a well-oiled machine. Barriers become challenges to overcome together. Individual performances become the building blocks of a joint excellence worth seeing! In WINZ STEPS UP TO THE FUTURE, we used a succession of highly varied campaigns to guide employees towards an innovative way of working

Being serious about safety means striving for continuous improvement. An open discussion – in the workplace – can significantly contribute to increasing risk awareness, and therefore to work safety. Starting up a conversation with each other sounds so simple – and in theory it is. But making it actually happen is not always so easy. Bringing parties together once in a while increases a mutual understanding of each other’s tasks and working conditions. It calls for a shared willingness to listen to each other and to learn with and from one another. SMAT is a communication trajectory that supports this kind of development. It contributes substantially to increasing risk awareness by allowing employees in various positions to talk one-on-one with each other about risks.

HSE issued, and how they are handled, play an important role in the assessment and selection of operators. Explicitly asking people to pay attention to rules is a must. The same applies to motivating people on and offshore to come to grips and comply with HSE regulations. After all, in a culture in which alertness comes first, everyone benefits. With the HIGH FIVE campaign, we significantly increased awareness of the rules. The campaign also generated hundreds of suggestions for improving HSE performance – thus providing ample evidence of project engagement.

3K Festival

Krafts, Kows and Kulture (all spelled with a K for the occasion). These are the central elements at the 3K Festival – a small-scale event that we co-organize annually. The 3K Festival brings musical and creative acts, a regional market and culinary delights to the inhabitants and visitors of Klarenbeek – correctly spelled with a K – a village in the Dutch Veluwe region. Plenty of entertainment for young and old. 2018 will see the festival’s third edition.

Make a Difference Day (NL Doet)

When the Dutch get an itch for volunteering, an unrivalled stream of initiatives is released. Thanks to a national appeal – supported by the Royal Family, politicians and Dutch celebrities, among others – tens of thousands of people volunteered to carry out jobs in their neighborhoods. Such initiatives require good support. And that calls for solid partners capable of taking responsibility for informing, activating and drumming up enthusiasm. We worked in a structured way and achieved a resounding success!

International Year of Volunteers

Without the work done by volunteers, much of society and community life would come to a standstill. Every volunteer knows this and has a sense of responsibility. Governments, industry and the general public occasionally need to be reminded of it. We launched a campaign for this purpose, aimed placing volunteer work in the spotlights. The campaign gave us a chance to applaud all those volunteers who have long deserved it and to encourage others to roll up their sleeves, too. And it worked! After a year of campaigning, the number of registered volunteers increased from three to five million.
